Gurtej Singh Brar knows Edmonton-Ellerslie, and is running for Alberta's New Democrats in the by-election.
Educated at Ashton College, Gurtej is a community leader. He knows that residents here have been let down by Danielle Smith. He knows our fast-growing community needs better health care, great jobs for everyone, and schools close by for students. He knows public safety is a top priority, not breaking apart our country like the UCP would do. He’ll work hard to bring down costs for things like utilities, auto insurance and housing.
He will champion these issues in the Alberta Legislature to build a better community for everyone.
Edmonton-Ellerslie consists of the south-east corner of Edmonton, with a blend of established and new communities. It includes most of the Ellerslie, Horizon, and Laurel community leagues, as well as the Pollard Meadows and Crawford Plains neighborhoods in the Southwood community league.
